Hurry up!  Last day to get 20% off EVERYTHING at Piperlime.  Plus get 30% off at Old Navy and 35% off at Gap and Banana Republic.  So first up...Necklaces!  This Tinley Road one is a must have and so is this Sabine one.  I'm in need of a new tablet folio and this Kate Spade one is perfect.  To hop on the Burgundy color trend bus I thought this Vince Camuto drawstring bag would be a great to do just that.  I usually don't gravitate towards drawstring bucket bags, but this one is so chic.  And how great would this Loeffler Randall clutch dress up your LBD which adds a little funk to your look.  Go now and shop your heart out at Piperlime, Banana Republic, Gap and Old Navy!

FEEL FLOWS

I fell in love with this dress by Line & Dot as soon as I saw it on Piperlime.  The color is spot on and works for both summer and fall.  Just throw a leather jacket over and you're all set.  It would also look great when paired with a bold statement necklace like this one.  The shape of this neckline really flatters and shows off your shoulders.  I'm also not a huge fan of a hi-lo dress or skirt, but this one's so subtle that it works.  I am so happy with this flowy look and can't wait to wear it during the fall and winter with various jackets and boots!

Shoes: Target (old) these are cute // Clutch: Banana Republic (old) // Earrings: Francesca's (this pair is adorable) // Bracelets: Target, Forever 21, Express // Ring set: Forever 21 // Sunglasses: Target

THINGS I LOVE // STORE EDITION

My favorite place to shop online is Piperlime.  I just wish the Soho store was open when I was in NYC.  With every brand you can think of all under one roof AND I can use my banana card, how great is that?

Enjoy!

TREND ALERTS 》FOR UNDER $100

Introducing to you some of the most popular trends of the season all for under $100!  I am just going crazy with all the options we have out there.  I must get this bright and colorful Mexican serape throw!  I already own 2 Mexican throws that I bought while in San Antonio, but they aren't as bright.  This will really pop against my black and white throw pillows on my sofa.  Kimonos are all the rage this summer.  As it gets so hot here in Texas, you might wonder why you would wear one, but they aren't as hot as you would think.  I constantly pair mine with shorts and a tank and if I get hot I just take it off and swing across my handbag.  The best accessory to wear while wearing your kimono is.....Turquoise Jewelry!  It brings a southwest flair to your outfit.  It's easy breezy and these pieces from Forever 21 will not break the bank!  Scarf prints have been trending for a while now, but haven't really caught my eye until now.  This maxi makes it look more regal and less "in your face" which I like.  As home interiors is my second love to fashion, I must mention the gold animal decor trend.  I already have a gold elephant on my book shelves (which you will see in an upcoming post showing you around my home) but this one from Furbish is very sleek and modern.  Hope you love these as much as I do!  Which is your favorite?

TRIBAL FRENZY

I'm so excited to share with you my first outfit post.  I teamed up with my best friend and photographer, Jennifer Crenshaw, to create new looks for my readers.  I think they came out great and I am so pleased with the outcome.  Please head over to Jennifer's website to see her amazing work and all that she has to offer.  She specializes in weddings, portraits, events and artistic photography.  Take a look at the debut of our collaboration and let me know what you think!

Tribal prints are all the rage right now.  You can find them pretty much anywhere.
I went with this print in a maxi dress. Maxi dresses are usually way too long for me, except for this one! Considering I'm only 5' tall, that's a miracle. Of course I had to pair it with 4" heels. The chunky heel and intricate basket weave detail makes these a great fit with any tribal look. Dresses like these are so multi-functional and I love how this one has a slit which makes it incredibly comfortable. This one came with a belt which I chose to use, but you can easily remove it and replace it with one of your own. Pairing this with a bright coral blazer and long gold tassel necklace completes the look. And of course you can't forget sunglasses! How would you interpret the tribal trend? I would love to know your ideas!
